why?? Its a general theme with Frank Miller... A hero isnt always a person in a costume resucing kittens and stopping bank robberies. He is a person that puts himself in danger, puts his life on the line for what he knows is right, despite whatever anyone else may say. That sometimes heros arent always good. That doing what is right, means doing something that is wrong. That a man needs to do what he must, simply because it must be done, simply because it is right.
There is a lot of violence, harsh themes such as rape, canabilism, etc because thats what Frank Miller wrote. And Robert Rodregez wanted to stay true to that gritty, harsh, over the top impact that existed in the graphic novel. Its rather a movie turned into a comic book, rather than the other way around. -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |
