Currently, i have an AIWA head unit which i would never recommend to anyone (it has this really annoying christmas light theme and eats disks) and now I want to step up to the next level with an Alpine. Im thinking cheaper so how bout the ALPINE CDA-9845 CD MP3 WMA INDASH CD PLAYER or the ALPINE CDA-9847 CD MP3 WMA INDASH CD PLAYER . does anyone know if there is much of a difference between the sound quality of the to. Also, my celi is vertible and i know the sound quality is going to be alot worse than my hatch was so is there a better choice, I dunno. Unless someone complains about theres, Im leaning more towards the 9847 cause it has 50W x 4 instead of 45W x 4.

I think you have the RMS wattages switched. Anyways, I work in Car audio at Best Buy and we just got all the Alpines in. Check out that 9853...I think it's pretty bomb. Only thing is we haven't figured out hopw to get to the subcontrol on it. Every other deck is so easy but that one isn't. also the scroll bar thing on the bottom isn't really all that cool.
