i've been hearing stories how cars are very easily stolen.

they first pull the cable in the grill to pop the hook. then disconnect the battery. After that, they can by pass the start kill switch with a wire from the battery to the starter. or push start the car.

You really can't do much once your battery is disconnect.

anyways to up the security?

even if the alarm goes off.. it doesnt take much time for them to disconnect the battery. most alarms that get installed by shops put the fuses right next to the battery. So if the theft wanted they could just pull out the fuse and the car alarm is gone.

most alarms are disarmed when the battery is reconnected. So car securtiy is pretty crappy.

Both my friends integras got stolen with alarms.
