I'm thinking about getting a new motherboard and processor this summer, and I was thinking about goin all the way and getting SLI, since it's twice as good as AGP, but I heard that SLI isnt compatible w/ all games yet, so I dont want to get expensive hardware that cant run games to its full potential, but I cant remember if that's true or not. What do yall think?

Gigabyte K8NS-Pro
AMD64 3200+
PNY Geforce6800 GT w/ NV5 silencer
Antec Aluminum Performance Series I case
Maxtor 40GB HDD 2MB cache
2x CD-RW drives *one DVD burner combo*
Sound Blaster Audigy: Gamer
2x 120 mm Intake/Exhaust fan

Stock 3D Mark 05 score: 4344

SLI is expensive and they do have compatibility issues with a lot of good games, go for a high end PCI express card, I would give it a few years before going for SLI, the AMD 64 is a good choice though. AMD isn't known for their gaming quility but the 64 should handle anything you throw at it. Here is a link of an SLI test: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/dis...00u-sli_14.html
