Tonight or tomorrow I'm going to try to get a hoist from a friend for the weekend and attempt to pull my engine to the point where it will move around so that I can get the rear mount in.
To do this, I need the engine to be free of all the mounts so it can twist just a bit. Now here's my question. First I'll show the pic. Can I simply attach chains to those two brackets to support the engine and move it around a bit while I get the mount in?

You might be able to get away with just removing the front mount and swinging the engine forward enought to take out the rear. I seem to remember I didn't remove the two side mounts to remove the crossmember and oil pan. But do support the engine with a hoist, and don't be an idiot like me and lift the front of the car up with the hoist
