I'm surprised, but I think you're completely wrong on this one. Intakes don't offer much performance anyways, but this thing probably reduces performance (increased air resistance). You realize that all it is, is a spiral shaped cookie cutter placed in the intake tube, it's not an electric fan (which are equally useless anyhow). The theory behind it is that the turbulence of the air entering the intake tube is reduced as a result of the spiral-shaped fins, letting it magically flow into the throttle body more "effectively," leading to +30 HP There's a reason they only sell this inexpensive piece of crap in info-mercials.
