i saw one on there and its adjustable and they say i can turn it off if i want and that it never goes beyond my engines parameters so it wont damage it. This may have been covered before but i havnt seen anything. whats the deal with this?

a link would be cool.. but im almost positive ur talking about that boxy with a dail and switch on it.

If so then i believe all it is a variable resistor which hooks up and works like the other resistors. They bypass the air temp sensor and trick the ecu into thinking that the engine is getting colder air than it actually is and thus adujust the fuel flow.

From what i have read and been told they arent that great of a thing.
