uh yea those spiral max things are not safe what is to prevent those little fans breaking off and going into your engine? and it blows the same amount of air at ALL rpms. so think of it like this. would you run full boost while waiting for a train? probably not. i know that's a little more than what actually happens but you get the idea. get a custom cold air intake for 30 or so. just buy the pipes and filter.

i dont think moving air could break the weld on a piece of machine aluminum. i believe it works my friend has one on his astro van he loves it.
