According to http://www.geocities.com/zegoat2000/THESWAP.html which has a ton of good info for a swap, the engine components you need are:
-the engine -uncut wiring harness -ecu -ignitor -ignition coil -resistor pack -maf unit -top mount intercooler My question is I know that you can get universal aftermarket ignition stuff. is there any reason you cant use this for the ignitor and ignition coil? im rather unknowledgeable about ignition in new cars. Also, what is a resistor pack and what does it do? I searched on google and found nothing. thanks for the info brian This post has been edited by CheesyLobster: Apr 22, 2005 - 1:24 AM |

*BUY A CLIP!*
coil, the 5sfe one should work. ingitor, a 90-92 celica gt coil is the same part number as the 3s one (this is what im using). resistor packs, you need the 3sgte specific ones. AFM, you need the 3s one. if u dont have it, and new one from toyota cost about 800$ wiring harness, 3sgte one...no way around it. ecu, 3sgte. *BUY A CLIP* -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
