I bought my 94 stx from a friend yesterday, and she conveniently failed to mention that the electrical system is kinda funky. It only happens at certain times, but what happens is that Ill hear a little click, and the horn will honk, the clock and dash lights will dim and who knows what else is goin on that I cant see when its happening. It only happens for a split second, but it will do it like 3 times in a row... stop for like 20 secs.. do it 4 times... then stop for.. like half an hour. Then repeat.

Im taking it in tomarrow to get it checked out, hopefully its just a bad fuse or something.. any advice?? This happen to anyone else? frown.gif

When the interior lights dim, is it like how the lights dim when the parking lights are turned on?

Yes it is! Also, they installed some foglights, and only one works. This may be because the bulb burned out, but theres always a chance of faulty wiring...

i think its the keyless entry messing things up.. try removing the brian of the unit and seee if that helps..

My friends old keyless entry would unlock his doors in the middle of the night!

No, I dont have keyless entry.
