QUOTE(Bigmeanbulldog55 @ Apr 25, 2005 - 11:01 AM) Dude, seriously, he's just asking it as something to talk about. It's interesting. It's not a stupid topic. If you had a mint condition 6gc, it would be worth a ton someday. Just the same as mint condition 70's models are now. Given that you won't get that much money for them, they are still worth something. This is a collector question. If he wants to do this, it isn't stupid. I admire the fact that he likes the car so much that he wants to do something like this. He may have been going about it the wrong way a little, but I think that was mostly just peoples responses. On a side not, I had a collector come and look at my car once. So there are actual Celica collectors. Dude, seriously...its a fugguin stupid question. First off, as a collector, you dont want to collect a remake, a replica. You'd want an original, within the manufactured years, with original miles on it. Its a Toyota ST205, not a Ferrari thats hand-crafted. Secondly, Toyota, the biggest selling car manufacturer on the planet, isnt going to give you the time of day unless you have a couple million to spend on wasting their time. If you want an ST205, either import one into the US, or move to a country that has them. If you want to have an ST205 and not drive it, which personally I couldnt do. Then rebuild the entire engine, voila, no miles. But asking www.6gc.net what it would take and how much it would cost is just ludicrous, and I call it such. -------------------- |
