I've read the earlier threads and tried to find the hole in my firewall to run wire through, but I can't find it. Can someone post a pic of exactly where it is?

the hole on the right side is fine if you want wires running all over you engine compartment. Personally, I like the clean look. The only part of my amp power wire that is visible, is where it hooks to the battery.
