Yes, it IS unfair that people let personal matters affect their professional life... However, as with all professions, everybody is only human, and the real world IS NOT fair, plain and simple. I personally find it more productive to avoid complaining about it constantly, and focus that energy in trying to make a change so im either not in that situation again, or using that energy to get others to think and have them want to make the change. That said, if you still feel so angry about how everything is always unfair- look at the bright side- your not the only one getting f'ed over....
