Has anyone actually read madmods statement, it wasn't that the cop came up and asked a simple question, he came up and naturally assumed that the girl was in danger because she was talking to someone of a different race. Wouldn't you feel somewhat offended if a cop came up to ass-u-me you were bothering this girl. As I said before it's understandable if they were arguing or she was attempting to get away, but that wasn't the case.
I will choose Moore over Bush because Moore can actually proove he's right, Bush just stands their looking like an in-bred wanting someone to bail him out. I do agree with nobody about the 7 mins. If I spent that much time on vacation instead of doing my job, i would be thinking oh s***. As for myself I said I keep the stupid stuff off of the highway because people here are very unpredictable, it's mostly on the backroads or where I have an emergency lane if I need it. If you check my record you'll see that most of these cases are on a highway where I don't do the stupid stuff, i.e. 74, 601, 200 and 1 backroad accident were I was the only one involved and I admitted it was stupid. When I was in high school I didn't care who was on the road next to me now it's been around 5 years and I don't desire to drive crazy in traffic, but I have a knack for ending up at the wrong place at the wrong time. As far as the race thing goes i'm Lumbee Indian and I know I have a right to pull the race card, but I was mad because they assumed I was hispanic and made pull at a traffic stop and made me 2 hours late to a meet I organized, all because I have a reddish skin. I wouldn't complain if they actually pulled over someone else but they didn't and they wouldn't let me film the B/S stop they did because they were afraid it would end up on the news or something. It's alright they do it twice a week in the same spot now. What gives a cop the right to bend or break the law is my question, what allows them to put others lives in harm by blowing through stoplights with no sirens or ride peoples a**** to try and get them to speed up when they're already 5 over the limit or to speed recklessly playing around with the Camaro they just got assigned to them, the best are the street racing cops, we have this 55 year old guy that cruises around in a new Thunderbird when pulls pulls up next to a car like an Eclipse or Mustang he revs his engine taps his fender then launches, after about an 1/8th of a mile he let's off the gas and flips his blue lights on. Technically that was entrapment, but yet it is legal as long as the other party commits, the problem is what gives our local police department the right to put others lives in danger by sending their own crazy drivers out to race, like I said before I don't recall a time where anyone have been killed in an organized street race in the Charlotte area and street racing been around Charlotte since bootlegging was big, what do you think NASCAR was before the track, the biggest motorsport in the nation and it was made by criminals. Bottom line is that my entire family has been or is involved in street racing and we have seen more accidents happen at Rockingham than at the street races here. QUOTE(darksecret @ Apr 27, 2005 - 8:13 AM) As far as the race thing goes i'm Lumbee Indian and I know I have a right to pull the race card, but I was mad because they assumed I was hispanic and made pull at a traffic stop and made me 2 hours late to a meet I organized, all because I have a reddish skin. Because as Americans we still discriminate on natives huh? You have NO right to pull a race card. Do I have a right to say that you did this because I'm white? It's a ludicrous statement. It sounds just as ludicrous when you say it. QUOTE Technically that was entrapment, but yet it is legal as long as the other party commits, the problem is what gives our local police department the right to put others lives in danger by sending their own crazy drivers out to race, It's called training. Do you have any? QUOTE like I said before I don't recall a time where anyone have been killed in an organized street race in the Charlotte area and street racing been around Charlotte since bootlegging was big, what do you think NASCAR was before the track, the biggest motorsport in the nation and it was made by criminals. Bottom line is that my entire family has been or is involved in street racing and we have seen more accidents happen at Rockingham than at the street races here. It may not have happened YET but it is inevitable. I'm sure it has happened you just fail to keep up with news. I would just suggest admitting you are wrong, if you have not noticed I am relentless. Many members here will vouch for that. Street racing serves no purpose in society. Nor does crazy driving. Get out of your bubble and look at the bigger picture. People HAVE died for participating in the "racing" culture. Wow, my car is faster than yours... aka wow, my mom and dad give me more money than yours. People who can afford their own car parts take it to the track because they can afford to trailor their car and pay any fees. -------------------- i am awesome
