I have a 1994 ST Auto. If I'm not mistaken, there is a speed limiter of 111MPH because of the tires the car came with or whatever.
Reference: http://evilspeed.com/Speed_defeat.htm The problem is, this article is for Manual transmission STs only. It says if I were to do it with an Auto transmission, it would **** it up. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could remove the top speed limiter for my auto tranny celi. Thanks! -------------------- |

QUOTE(Bigmeanbulldog55 @ Apr 28, 2005 - 11:02 PM) Good luck ever getting to the 111mph limiter on an ST, or a GT for that matter. It would take you forever, and you really don't need to be going that fast. Unless you have other significant upgrades, and I'm guessing you don't from what's in your info, you'd never need to remove it. I don't mean to bust your chops here man, I'm just telling you how it is. You guys are acting like it's easy to get to up at those high speeds. It's not. I've done around 125 in my celica, but it took forever. The car can cruise at 110-115 alright, but there's not point. It's just not a good idea to go that fast, especially if you don't have proper upgrades. Whatever though, go kill yourselves, there'll be a few less idiots for me to deal with. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
