Is it really that hard to change your fuel filter??? My mechanic said you have to like almost remove the engine to get to it cause its buried in there. I really wanna do this myself to save the 90 dollars in labor costs... Where exactly is the fuel filter, and is it easy to get to?

you might want to start looking for a new mechanic because apparently your current one is incompetant
the fuel filter is located toward the firewall to the right-hand side. its a smallish black cylinder, you can't miss it. as for changing it yourself, go for it. the fittings can be a pain due to the angle you're working but its worth a shot |
