Is it really that hard to change your fuel filter??? My mechanic said you have to like almost remove the engine to get to it cause its buried in there. I really wanna do this myself to save the 90 dollars in labor costs... Where exactly is the fuel filter, and is it easy to get to?

I have 250k on mine, and I've changed it once (it was the original filter). I'm about to do it again, but I think every 30k is way too excessive. I don't remember it being reverse thread. Just look at the new one to find out.
