I was checking this out on NOPI today.....JET V-Force
It sounds like a decent upgrade, especially if i were to add some minor mods like i/e/h and pulley or something, it sounds like this would keep it all running efficiently so that i dont run too rich/lean. Does anybody have one of these, or any experience with it?? Tell me what you think of it. I was thinking either this or the Venom 400, but im not sure what the difference really is as far as performance, installation, etc. goes......this is almost 100 bucks cheaper than the Venom 400. Either way, give me your input This post has been edited by Silver94CelicaOwner: Apr 19, 2003 - 11:24 PM -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

AGH! Let me go and research.10:38
V-Force Power Control Module - 4cyl - 20mhz RISC microprocessor optimizes the ignition spark advance and recalibrates the fuel map for optimum horsepower and acceleration The Venom looks really easy to do. It only has 4 wires, and tow of them are '+' and '-'. The venom has to be turned on and off when the ignition is on or off. So no turning it on at a red light. I don't know if the jet is like that or not, but it appears it can be turned up or down. All I've read about either is that they both perform about the same. That means about 2-5 tenths of a second off of your 1/4th mile time. They said it makes a bigger difference on automatics. I also read in an older post that the JET was on recall. But it was an old post. Who knows. Were I to buy one, it would be the JET V-force. It's buy a tried and tru company, and it is mounted inside.(all the venoms I saw were in the engine bay.) PLUS, jet says that it provides 10-15 hp on honda's, so who knows. I'm tired and going to bed. 11:28 |
