Ok, I was wondering why does insurance point the finger at young people for the high premiums. I understand that kids cause a lot of wrecks due to the one or two weeks of practice that schools give before the test, but why don't they look into mechanics that deal with a lot of insurance wrecks, I think it's wierd that I tell one mechanic I need a quote for the insurance company and they say $1,163.00 and another body shop tells me $745.00 and has the same repair order as the first shop. The only difference was I told one mechanic insurance was doing it and the other I told I was having to pay.

This 17 year old kid had his license 3 weeks his Mustang GT driving around a curve doing 110mph and wrecked it injuring 3 others in the car with him, that is why I don't understand why parents give kids fast cars, some might be responsible but most are going to haul a** and possibly wreck them. My opinion on the insurance thing is that insurance companies love the high charging shops since it gives them a reason to jack up premiums.
