well kinda was thinking about doing this since my engine is about to die.. i just feeling it going to happen it soon.... doing the 3S-GE swap .. and then intalling the Ripp mods supercharger.. i think that would be a sick swap/install .... but doesn't look like i will be doing it anytime soon unless i get a way better job. ASAP ... but any way .. just wonder what ya'll think about this? here is a list of the what i would have had installed
3sge RippMods SC Custom ECM FMIC CUstom Gearbox Custom LSD CUstom Hi Tq axles remove AC *thats just a few things i was thinking about not a complet list over everthign needed ... -------------------- |

i think it would be a great idea.. I love how much more reliable a supercharge engine is. and how less mantinance compared to a turbo is.
But then you get into the area of.. "is it worth the money" this would not be worth it. cuz the charger alone is 2k. Imagine you dumping 2 on a turbo on the 3s. Additionally, the 3sge ecu is not ment to handle boost. So if you want real power you would need a stand alone. That is gonna hurt your wallet. So is it worth the money? its up to you. |
