I was checking this out on NOPI today.....JET V-Force
It sounds like a decent upgrade, especially if i were to add some minor mods like i/e/h and pulley or something, it sounds like this would keep it all running efficiently so that i dont run too rich/lean. Does anybody have one of these, or any experience with it?? Tell me what you think of it. I was thinking either this or the Venom 400, but im not sure what the difference really is as far as performance, installation, etc. goes......this is almost 100 bucks cheaper than the Venom 400. Either way, give me your input This post has been edited by Silver94CelicaOwner: Apr 19, 2003 - 11:24 PM -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

First to say that the venom does not have to be turned on and off. once its on it stays on with the car, the only time you turn it off if you want is for inspections. there is an led that tells when it is is working. you do not have to switch it on everytime you use it. thats stupid. It made a huge differance. More power and torque. it increases the hp by 25% usually. it hooks into the harness that goes to the ecu. it only took me and my friend like 20 mins to install. By the way you dont have to mount it in the engine bay, it just fits there really well and its out of the way. its waterproof too. the jet system is not as good as the venom, my friend returned the jet one recently and said that he should have listened to me on the venom for his galant. its just a better product. if you get one do this hook it up and run your car. stop and turn the unit off then run your car again. i gaurantee you will feel a huge differance. hope this helps. |
