What do you need to modify to shoot nitrious in your car? I have an ST so do I need to do anything to it before I buy a bottle and hook things up? And exactly when do you use nitrious, what RPM's? I might wanna try it out!

I believe what he's trying to say is, Our cars (US Spec mind you) don't pull as well in 3rd gear as Integras and Civics. Oddly enough, I agree.
As far as costs of filling nitrious bottles go, it's about 40 bucks a full bottle here, good for a LOT of runs. It's a lot cheaper than a turbo system, guranteed, and doesn't come with the endless complications a turbo can yeild over time. I'll also say, I don't spray anymore (had an unfortunate accident before). Either way, nitrious is far cheaper than a turbo and can yeild similar results as an unbuilt 5sfte or 7afte. Also note, you can't compare the two. Nitrious is mainly for the straight line drags, while turbos are pretty flexible. If all you want is a quick boost in a straight line... nitrious is cheaper, safer, and can yeild the same, if not slighty better results than a turbo on our motors. And if you wanna know, I've hit 14's with 97-98 mph trap speeds on the tracks... spraying on an all-motor setup...an ST. ;] |
