QUOTE 1. Removing the door panel. This is a fairly easy process, but make sure you get all of the screws removed or you will have a hard time ripping this bad boy out. There are 4 screws on the bottom, 3 plastic push-in's on one side, 1 large screw under the armrest, 1 screw where the door-open latch is, and you must remove the plastic surrounding the latch to remove the final large screw. In order to pull the panel off, it is recommended that you move the triangular peice of plastic located where the wiring comes in from the automatic side mirror on the inside. It can be moved by simply sliding it, or it can be pulled out. To pull the door panel off, use an upward pull because the panel actually hooks into the area the window is located. There will be connections you must unplug. There is one for the door light, and two in the area of the lock/unlock buttons. They can be unplugged by simply pressing down on a clip and gently pulling out. The panel cannot be completely removed without doing this. This is from Makaveddie's tutorial on how to 6.5" speakers in the front. I thought it would help you out a bit. -------------------- ![]() A Jaws4God Creation... |
