i just recently got a new power window motor for the back passenger side, now the driver back side motor goes bad. I just want to do the replacement of motors myself if possible. I been lookin on the net and the fourms, and i couldn't find any guides to replace a power window motor. dont know what the price would be either, since i went though my warranty and it cost 100 bucks for each visit or something. help would be suggested, its a 96 gt convt

the switch goes down without a problem... somethimes, but almost always has problems goin up. I think I need to clean the contacts on the inside or something. or need to check the motor.

from my understading its the switch! if it only goes one way and takes a while till you get it to go the other way. i just cleaned my switch today and it solved the problem. try cleaning the switch b4 you do anything else!! use a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. and an old tooth brush would be good.

if that doesnt work then here are the pages from the repair manual. they're big so i just attached the links! hope this is helpful!!!
