but my amp is a DEI (directed, viper etc) and where you connect the power, ground, remote, speaker + - it is not your average screw connecter but a seperate peice that the wire is inserted into and is than plugged into the amp.

my question is as follows.

when i run all three positive and negative wires... they will not fit in the given hole. Could i run them (12 ga) and use a butt connector to splice all three into a single (8-12 ga) wire and run that to the amp?

essentially i would be running three wires the +, or - and than turning them into one wire before entering the amp.

_____________
_____________ [splice] amp (+)
_____________

_____________
_____________ [splice] amp (-)
_____________

or would that restrict them, thanks for your time

as long as it is wired like that, then it will work... what i do is run the pos and neg from the amp to the first sub, and then run seperate wire from that same pos and neg wire to the next sub, and so on..
