I have a beams 98 celica but am thinkin of tradin it in for a 99 VVTLi celica with a trd bodykit... what you guys think... Am I mad

NA 2zz have 180

JDM and UK have 190, I think

Key here is 'usable power' which the 2zz is short of.

When a car is racing... it doesn't spin at 4000 rpms... 2ZZ has plenty of useable power for performance purposes... An argument like that would say F1 cars are slow because they don't have "useable" power... rolleyes.gif

It's a matter of prefrence. The 7th gen GTS (SS2) is as fast as the Beams 6th gen Celicas in track situations. The beams will be a more friendly driver car.
