Anyone know when we are going to see a new generation Celica? The 6th gen were made from 94-99 (6 years) so we should get a new generation next year or so (since 00-05 is another 6 years). Or maybe not.. Would be fun though

ie. a facelift. Last time I was at a Toyota Dealership (in the UK), the guy said that Toyota were discontinuing the Celica and MR2 and making a hybrid of them costing in the region of £40'000 (around $80'000?) I'm guessing he may have got some wrong info.... it'd be too hard to sell a hybrid of the two at that price when Celica's and MR2's are so much more affordable and appealable to a mass-market. Still, I guess it's just a case of waiting for Toyota to announce the fate of the Celica. -------------------- |
