QUOTE i already know the answer to this stupid question but a guy i know doesn't believe me. anyways here it goes: can a 60 amp fuse work in an amp that only takes a 15 or 30 amp fuse?? QUOTE oh yeah to everybody on here, don't sell or buy anything to smlogg. he will try to rip you off!!! We never conversed. If this amp can pull a max of 30 amps you should probably have mentioned that. You sent me no schematics no instructions no manual etc. When you originally posted your auction, you advertised it as an 800watt amp, which was just wrong and deceiving, its a 400watt dual channel. When I asked you for information on the amp, you sent me the bare bones information that is supplied on the website. I wouldnt be suprised if you just copy and pasted it. I had to look that all up and contact a number of people working in the car audio business to find out what this amp could or couldnt do. I based my decision off recommendations from people who didnt own the amp, and you certainly weren't any help. Bridged, not bridged, gauge, amps, you sent me the unit bare without specifying any of these. If you knew it was a 30amp max you should have told me originally, or at least when I sent you a PM asking about it; posting here implying that you already said such seems like a cheap shot trying to dispell any future accusations I might have made about you being a bad seller. I tried to rip you off? If I wanted to rip you off, I would have reversed paypal charges by now and taken all the money back then just disapeared. I never would have sent you the money in the first place. You were completely shady, asking for the 2nd half of payment when you sent me a tracking number that didn't work. This sell has been nothing but a nightmare for me and the only reason I didn't post anything about you being a bad seller was because I am, in general, way too trusting of people and coincidences. The stuff eventually came through and thats fine by me. I found a buyer for your amp who likes working with electronics, so I've covered losses on my end, I really dont care anymore. I've since wired the system to 800amp dual channel with 4gauge power and 12gauge speaker. The subs work fine and the box is decent, even though its been drilled into a few times. This post was completely out of line. This post has been edited by Smlogg: May 20, 2005 - 3:11 PM |
