i already know the answer to this stupid question but a guy i know doesn't believe me. anyways here it goes: can a 60 amp fuse work in an amp that only takes a 15 or 30 amp fuse?? or will it cause a short in the amp or make it blow up?? sorry for this guys, but this guy is really pissin me off.

I had this problem a while ago smogg. It turns out there was just a small hairline slice in my power wire, and everytime the car bounced (driving) just enough to hit metal to a small strand of wire poking out of that, it blew the wire fuse (your 60 amp fuse). Try using a friends power wire, or just a lose one, or borrow a quick one from a audio store or something, and just hook it up to the battary, then go outside of your car (don't do a full install) and come in through the hatchback and then connect it to the amp. See how that works
