just wondering, i have noticed that camry's come with a v6 but i also noticed that the camry was released with a 5sfe in it also that lays in the engine bay the same way that the engine sits in my celica. i was wondering if it is feasible to swap a v6 camry engine into a celica i figured it would work seeing as how one of the choice trannies for a 3sgte is a v6 camry tranny and that the stock tranny for a st204 fits also so i figure in theory that a v6 camry engine swap would work with my stock trany i guess i would just need mounts ecu and harness right? or would it be a more complicated swap than expected?

You know what I notice? A lot of people talk... but no one really walks. FYI, you can't do a 2JZ without doing a RWD conversion...

QUOTE(Kwanza26 @ May 25, 2005 - 3:04 AM) You know what I notice? A lot of people talk... but no one really walks. FYI, you can't do a 2JZ without doing a RWD conversion... It's probable, if you want to cut the car completly in half and add about 10" of sheet metal, F1 Motorsports I believe made a true widebody out of a Mustang Cobra, they also said they had over $100,000 in it. I should start walking in about 2 months when I start looking for a decent 3S and rear end, on the steering rack issue an F-Body steering system works nicely and leaves enough room for a V8 if I wanted, steering system is coming from F-Body Motorsports in Concord. |
