I've never heard them and nobody i knows have them. I know that the Xplod subs really sucked and don't know if these are any better?? He just wants one 12 in a bandpass box that has a solid bump no comp. And he wants it to look good. I tell him get a Vega IT, not to pricey and a very clean sub. Thanks

I've never heard a Sony sub that sounded good either. And the Sony cd player in my dad's car is only a year old I think and it already skips horribly and hardly plays CDs anymore. I wouldn't recommend Sony car audio equipment to anyone. Their website doesn't even work very well at all and when I went there to try to find a part number to find some reviews for you, rather than offering information on their products, I could only find links to buy Sony equipment, which makes me mad when I just want product information from a manufacturer. Horrible website interface design sucks.
After having to go to a shopping website rather than Sony's own site simply to find part numbers and product information, it looks like there are two types of those subs. Does your friend want the less powerful one with the red dustcap, or the more powerful one with the silver dustcap? Also, there are some excellent subs that hit harder, sound tighter, handle more power, and cost a lot less than those subs. Let us know if you want some alternative suggestions. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
