I have a 1994 ST Auto. If I'm not mistaken, there is a speed limiter of 111MPH because of the tires the car came with or whatever.
Reference: http://evilspeed.com/Speed_defeat.htm The problem is, this article is for Manual transmission STs only. It says if I were to do it with an Auto transmission, it would **** it up. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could remove the top speed limiter for my auto tranny celi. Thanks! -------------------- ![]() |

I have been driving uphill in my 99 ST at 115 mph. There was no problem really coming up to that speed. Not sure how it would have been going any faster though. But I was still only using my fourth gear, and haven't reached rev limit yet either. (this is with no real mods, apart from new rims and tires. And of course removing tools and spare tire etc from the back)
I'm not sure, but I think that the Europe version is more like the JDM version than the US really, because of several things. And I think we might have a tad more than the US version under the hood. Cali cars atleast are a bit slower than regular, aren't they? -------------------- ![]() |
