Ok, Here's the deal: I bought my Celica a little over a month ago and the lady who owned the car before me didn't care as good of the car as she should. She must have broke off the power antenna in the car wash or something, because when I recieved the car, the stock power antenna was replaced with a cheap whip antenna that gets in the way of my car cover, and looks stupid as well. I took off my plastic hatch panels and this is what I found:
From what I could tell, there is no wiring harness for the old antenna. I am looking to get a vehicle specific power antenna but I guess it would have to be a custom install because there is no wiring harness. If I get the antenna, can I just Make a switch for it from the help article? Please let me know any other suggestions if you have any. P.S. The stupid replacement antenna leaked and rusted the bottom part of my quarter panel, under the car. Looks like I'll be doing some FGing this next weekend. -------------------- |
