Hi guys... been reading so much that my head hurts...

I'm on toyotanation, same nick, and i have been lurking here for a while cause i'm doing my engine swap soon and heard from TN that there are tons of valuable information here.

ok, from all that i've read and gathered for the 3sgte swap onto a 6th gen celica.

the 2 avail trannies that are options are;
the E153 from the V6 camry or solara &
the one from the mr2 turbo tranny,

the problem with the mr2 tranny is that something is too short and i'll have to get something from the V6 camry or solara and mate it with the mr2T and make a hybrid

however, that process is only needed if i intended to push for more than 250whp.

Else, if it's just a swap with stock parts and slightly higher than stock boost, the tranny from the V6 camry or solara will blot right on without any modifications and would hold the power that i need. I can't and won't be pushing more that 250, cause mine's a convrt, and the chasis can only hold up to max 300hp before i have to do any body strengthening.

Lurker on celictech for my 3SGTE swap
Trying to sell stuff on alltrac.net

Time will tell that it is a mistake to replace the F-14 Tomcat with the F-18 Super Hornet as the carriers first line of defense.
