i have my celi sitting in my garage with the engine halfway out, i have a 94 ST.. i just bought a 97 ST motor a few days ago and its sitting in my garage waiting to be put in... from what the people told me at the yard where i got the engine from is it would bolt right up and electricals should be fine.. but my friend who is putting in the engine for me was wondering if the 97 ST engines had OBD 2 and if the electricals would hook up right.. or else i could have a problem.. if anyone could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated..

Yeah you're going to have to decide which ECU to use, if you use the '94 harness and ECU then you should be able to swap just about everything over and that's probably the easiest way. If the sensors give you trouble just swap over the long block (use your intake manifold) and the exhaust manifolds should be the same. Or you can convert it to OBDII but that will be a pain.
