Ok, so im plannin on buying another 5SFE motor in the winter to build up to handel high boost, buttt..my problem is, i dont know witch way i should get my boost. Ive been thinkin of duin a turbo kit and coustom make it or ive been thinking of gettin the RIPP supercharger kit and modifying it a bit(new pipes, intercooler, better BOV, so on..). But im kinda on a budget, so it would be one or the other, but i want to go with the cheaper one and the one thats gonna give the most bang for the buck. RIPP's website says that with 9psi of boost you can get up to 237 HP off a factory 5SFE and to me that sounds pretty good cuz i wanna be running at like 14PSI or so. So i want your imput, what do you think has the best bang for the buck and also if any one has the ripp superchager, post what you think of it here.

Go turbo, it sounds better biggrin.gif

Turbo definately for more bang for your buck, $3400 is pretty expensive for the stage 1 supercharger kit and I doubt you'd spend that much getting parts for the turbo and if you do the install yourself you can save money instead of having a shop do it for you.

Yeah, I love me some turbos smile.gif

Although this new supercharger that I've been reading about it interesting.
