woot for the 1/4 mile, masssive time improvment Options

well i gutted everything from my front seats back
every plastic, foam, nut and bolt that i could remove i did.....

slapped on my 14s
dropped down the air pressure and put on my AEM cai

and my time went from a 18.1 second to a 17.4 second tonight

my launch was pretty good hopped for a few feet but it pulled really strong and did well i think

oh and i saw a 6gc GT about 6 cars infront of me
he ran a 17.3 woot my ST is .1 behind!

I just want to say, Playr did do a lot better. That much of a decrease in time is great. But the fact still remains that a Celica is supposed to be a sports car. I'm not really one of those people who think if it doesn't make it perform better, then its rice. There are things that make the car nicer than don't make it faster. Leather seats for example. But it's true what I said earlier; the whole point of the body kits, big wheels, and wing was originally to make it look like a racecar. The whole fad got out of hand, and now there's cars out there that look like racecars but are purely for show. I'm a true sleeper fan; they're what I love. But I can stand a show-go car. But I just can't stand a car that looks like a racecar and is slow. Playr's time was an impressive improvement, but his car is still slow, and it has all that dress up stuff on it. To me, this isn't, nor has it ever been about Playr. This is about people who put these things on their cars, actually making them slower than they would be stock. Everyone has the right to do what he or she want, but it embarrasses me to be a Celica (or any Import) owner when they do these things. That's not saying that muscle car guys are any better. There's got to be some place I feel at home, right?

EDIT: I'm sorry I started all this fighting. I wish I never had. I'll continue to discuss it untill it's resolved as best as possable though. If you start it, you must finish it. Sorry again for starting though.
