well i gutted everything from my front seats back
every plastic, foam, nut and bolt that i could remove i did.....

slapped on my 14s
dropped down the air pressure and put on my AEM cai

and my time went from a 18.1 second to a 17.4 second tonight

my launch was pretty good hopped for a few feet but it pulled really strong and did well i think

oh and i saw a 6gc GT about 6 cars infront of me
he ran a 17.3 woot my ST is .1 behind!

Alright i've been out for a few hours, I fully agree with supersprynt about the street racing, most of the haters have or do race, i've seen a few cops around Charlotte that race, DOHC Neon (CMPD) from the underground racing forum runs an SRT-4 and Randy Braswell (NCHP) runs a Z24 and there is another who runs a Skyline but I never met him, he's with CMPD, of course they get to go to Raliegh and train on a closed road course so that makes it better. Ghostdog, to defend piro even though he did put his foot in his mouth, he did have a right to respond to sarcasm, I would have taken it and made a better response, but the post slow made was uncalled for also and it was obvious it implied something, all right bulldog, no prob a lot of people misunderstand when someone talks about the speed the Celica can go and I agree we got put in the same boat as the 240 guys, these cars are both sports cars with weak motors due to our original motors putting out as much emissions as a Dodge motor. Last one, CJOHNST3 lol, you are one of the few people that get what I meant about a 350Z having bad top end, I was in a Lancer OZ of all cars and I guess the 350 thought I was an Evo so he floored it when I got near him, I knew he would have killed the Lancer but I floored it to, we were doing 65 mph to begin with and when we finished we were at about 115-120 (Lancer tops at 135 so far, never pegged or hit rev limit not bad for 120 hp) anyways he was about 4-5 car lengths ahead, from a stop he would have been about 20.

BTW if any ST driver wants to find a good race, find a stock Lancer, they are one of the most pathetic imports to hit the road, sad thing is they have a full assortment of mods including three or four different turbo kits so check before you run them.
