I did these turns to the guy Snakeloa, he is the owner of the GT4 in Germany, and sometimes he shows up on this board... He wanted clear turns for his GT4, and he wanted for Germany police to not notice they are not TUV aproved, so i had to make the writing of E13 and etc on them This is the comparison to the stock turn vs DCW clear turn Hope you guys like this -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...

@shin
soon ..... As soon as they arrive THESE INDICATORS ARE FOR GT FOUR ST205 ONLY.... (because of the different shape) Unfortunatly Doggy who made them up for me was not able to make complete new ones @ the moment. So we decided to modify the old ones. It took him two days to get these two indicators to look like that.... But look at this great result!!!! And i bagged him to do us all a favour and make a grou-buy-modification out of that.... Well what can i say he said yes OK here is what we planned.... So this thread is only to see about how many GT Four ST205 drivers would like to get their indicators modified. It would be like that. As soon as we decide how and when this should start.... Everybody is going to send their parts to one driver who is going to send them in one parcel (with name tags on them) to doggy. Then Doggy is going to modify them: a) cut out the orange glass (he keeps a little surrounding of the orange stuff) b) then he cuts the clear one to fit into it c) he glues them together d) sands them down and polishes the edges e) he engraves the EU permission mark E13 and a Toyota Sign (he could leave that away for you over there in the US) f) he colours the surrounding (other colours than black are possible (i guess that would cost a little extra for the colour...) Then he will send them back to us. In advance i will have to say again we still have to decide if we start this soon or during the winter season. And it will take quite some time .... the costs you are asking???? Well 220 US$ a pair Just kidding ok 60€ which would be around 74US$ regarding to the exchange rate a pair plus postage I think thats a fair price regarding 2 days work (he might get it done a bit faster in the future, but it is still an awfull lot of work) So who would be interested then: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) I hope i got everything allright.... If not please correct me doGGy cheers Joerch This post has been edited by snakeloa: Jun 8, 2005 - 2:36 PM -------------------- |
