woot for the 1/4 mile, masssive time improvment Options

well i gutted everything from my front seats back
every plastic, foam, nut and bolt that i could remove i did.....

slapped on my 14s
dropped down the air pressure and put on my AEM cai

and my time went from a 18.1 second to a 17.4 second tonight

my launch was pretty good hopped for a few feet but it pulled really strong and did well i think

oh and i saw a 6gc GT about 6 cars infront of me
he ran a 17.3 woot my ST is .1 behind!

I say, if your car does 20sec in the quarter and you want to run it, then run it.  That's fine with me.  Just don't put a body kit and big wheels on it.  To me, it's not about running a slow car in the quarter.  It's about putting all that garb on it, and running it.  And people calling anything above 15 seconds fast, but that hasn't really been an issue here.

Hey man, calm down. I'm just trying to make sure things are clear. I've got no problem with you as long as your doing the 7afte project. Congratulations on your improvement. I hope it continues. I also wish you would have done the turbo before the body kit and stuff. But as long as you don't intend on taking a sports car and putting all that stuff on it, and never making it faster and using it, then I have no problem.

I do understand that it is your car and you can do what you want to it. But you're not only making yourself look dumb by doing things like that, you're taking a lot of others down with you. If enough people take something, and do it in an embarrassing way, then that thing will carry a negative connotation. I don't want this trend to continue. (again, not personally addressed to playr158)
