"PROJECT GT4" WITH 19INCH WHEELS
Well, the 19inch wheels have now arrived and have been installed. They are Fondmetal wheels from Italy. The fronts are 19x8 running 225-35-19 and the rears are 19x9 running 235-35-19. I think the back will take 245-35-19...which I will get to give a broder stance. It took me almost two months to get these wheels (hard to get a 5x100 for front wheel drive in a staggered offset and different widths), but I have to say I am very happy with them. there is one more pic on my website... nope...no problem with rubbing at all. The car is lowered 1.5 inches. Oh, and yes the car looks fast, but its a daily driver...and gas mileage is an issue. My 4th get alltrac drinks...or should I say guzzles gas...850cc injectors and 2 TT Supra fuel pumps. So, swapping my 4th gens 3sgte motor is not an option!!! But if I decide to keep the car for an extended period of time...a normal 3sgte or a BEAMS 3sge is the most likely swap. This post has been edited by GT-4: May 1, 2003 - 8:04 PM |
