Hey everybody, I'm sure that nobody knows me since I do not post much and whatever I do post isn't terribly constructive. Anyhow, my celi is nearing 260k miles and its starting to show its wear and tear and I would like to convert it to my future project car. Right now I'm in school and I need a fuel efficient car that has some zip to it and when I went shopping around it only made me more confused. The Civic was really fun to drive, but for almost 20k the interior was a big let down. The 6i was equally fun to drive and the hatchback swallows just about anything, but I'm a bit iffy on Mazda reliability and parts costs because of the 91 MPV my parents own that has been nothing but a disaster. THe Scion tC well the only thing I really like about that car is its cheap, has really good aftermarket support, and that nifty sunroof, but I dont think I will invest much money into it and it feels a bit ponderous around the corners. The Corolla is interesting to say the least. The engine is wonderful as heck and ride and handling are pretty good, but its looks are to say the least... bleh... that and a lack of folding rear seats. Anyhow any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for spending the time to read such a mass of words.

The new civic si, we'll have to see when it comes out, but the concept looks awesome as well as the engine. The current one is nice and all but for 20k I cant seem to find a way to justify the price.
