Well, I just got some new pipework, and I'm in the process of fabricating it.
I was planning on putting the BOV somewhat near the throttle body - like within a foot or so. I looked at my instruction thing to see if it gave a specific before/after intercooler, etc, and I saw it says "keep >20cm away from high heat (header)". Well great, the flange doesnt sit flat where I want it to - so I need to either put it way off the TB, or put the flange within the 20cm "safety zone." Do you think this would hurt the valve long or short term? Do you all have recirculation kits for your SSQV's? thanks This post has been edited by mark_426: Jun 30, 2005 - 10:59 PM -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

i dunno. doesnt seem like it would be a prob to me i mean its just a spring in a metal case that opens up at certain times. the line going to it would need to be metal cuz rubber would def melt. the bov would be on your way to the intake so it would be best if the whole thing was away from the block. piping that runs near turbo, header, over block will heat up real good.
