Well, I just got some new pipework, and I'm in the process of fabricating it.
I was planning on putting the BOV somewhat near the throttle body - like within a foot or so. I looked at my instruction thing to see if it gave a specific before/after intercooler, etc, and I saw it says "keep >20cm away from high heat (header)". Well great, the flange doesnt sit flat where I want it to - so I need to either put it way off the TB, or put the flange within the 20cm "safety zone." Do you think this would hurt the valve long or short term? Do you all have recirculation kits for your SSQV's? thanks This post has been edited by mark_426: Jun 30, 2005 - 10:59 PM -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

QUOTE(mark_426 @ Jul 1, 2005 - 12:33 PM) So, where's the best place to put it? i like putting them between the intercooler and the turbo. relieve pressure on the turbo side of tings and makes it even less likely that there will be surging. as for SSQV recirculation i have the kit, but i dont use it. the SSQV never leaks and only lets out as much air as it needs to, unless you develop stalling problems with open atmosphere, keep it open atmosphere -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
