QUOTE(SlowCelica94 @ Jul 7, 2005 - 6:18 PM) so you paid 1,700 more then a 2nd gen. And you get how much more hp? 30 or 40? I'd say do a turbo upgrade with that cash. But hey- your money not mine. first thing - I did not buy it. I had a deal with the seller and my other half couldn't come up with the rest of the $$, as I have already posted. The deal was $3700 shipped, OK SlowCelica94, about $1700 more than a 2nd gen clip, now... this clip has about 30K miles on it and very little maintence would be needed to this practicly new engine compared to an 80K 2nd gen motor. The fact that the 205 is MAP based as opposed to MAF is reason alone to get it. Also, as we all know, this clip had the 205 body panels in perfect shape (including the OEM fogs(<-big $$), brackets, rebar, ect..) which from toyotaworld is about $1700+ for what that had. If I could of come up with about 1K more, I would of bought the clip 5 days ago, the seller and I had the deal in place. -------------------- |

I suppose your right tho- I didn't take in account the body pannels. I just sorta looked at it as an engine. But 80k miles on a 2nd gen is a bit high. I think you've been looking at some bunk ass clips. -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife
