well i finshed painting my kit. it was a bitch to get the right paint. i went to the place where i got the paint to do my car and they had burnt down. so i had to go to another place and the first time they mixed the paint it was to dark. anyways i got it right and here it is
oem rears pre facelift fronts 404 sides heres some pics of it in my bathroom letting it dry. its in there since its the smallest room and i turned the heat up to 90 so i wet sand these and compound them by 2marro. bare with me its a camera fone. i dont think anyone has this exact set up. ![]() ![]() ![]() long live teal This post has been edited by gtcelica94: Jul 10, 2005 - 7:21 PM |

awesome job! what do people mean by wet sand? how do you do that? can't wait to see them on the car!!

[right][snapback]310439[/snapback][/right] when you wet sand you are just polishing the paint really. you sand off the top layer with 2200 grit sand paper then you compound it , seal it then i hand wax it. its a good way to make your car look good if the paint is fading a little bit. i should have these on my car by tomarro pics will be up. |
