Well one day my system just stopped working altogether. First thing I suspected was RCA wires/jacks. I bought new wires and tested them. Nothing. So I tested it with a different CD player. Nothing. I've taken the sub out of the box and inspected it, and it has no signs of being blown. It's a 800W max. sub bridged to a 2-channel 400W amp. I checked all connections between the amp and the sub, along with all the fuses, and everything looks fine. I also checked to see if the amp is getting power, and it is. I'm just not getting any boom boom!
Anyone have any other suggestions? Note that the amp isn't generating any heat whatsoever, but I wouldn't think that it would in the first place if it's not having to use any power other than being turned on. |

Make sure your remote-on lead from the head unit is connected in dash and to sub, assuming you use it
