Hi, my name's Andy and I'm a new member. I dont actually own a 6th Gen but was wondering if you guys could answer a question I have? I drive a 4th Gen Celica running a ST202 3S-GE and lots of other 6th gen bits... it wishes it was a 6th gen! tongue.gif

My question is about the JDM ST202's - I'm looking at upgrading my g.box but need some info on them. The 3S-GE half cuts I've seen come in two varieties. One has the regular 5sp g.box, normal suspension and normal single piston brakes. The other type of cut has a bigger g.box (with a black cap on the end), superstrut suspension and twin piston brakes with bigger rotors. Does anyone know what the difference is between the g.boxes? I can get one with driveshafts pretty cheap but I dont know if it'll be worth the bother.

Any help would be appreciated!

Andy

Thanks for that, much appreciated! LSD would be nice, but at an extra 10kg... hmm...

So all superstrut cars definitely had an LSD? Will the LSD in these g.boxes help reduce wheelspin at all? Are there any other benefits in swapping to this g.box?

I found one on Yahoo Japan - linkage

Thanks for all your help so far!
