If you guys can get me some pictures and specs and such.. I might be able to replicate them.. for a lot less.
I work at a machine shop, and I have acess to all machines and if I can't operate it, the people who know how to. I think it'd be a relatively easy laser/plasma cut, then weld a bracket, and find a shock (we have a few hydraulic connections), and they'd be done. So, if you have some dimensions, specs, material, and any other useful information, I'd like to look into it some more. Heres some examples of our work: http://www.fabtechind.com/images/examples/rescue_vehicle.jpg http://www.fabtechind.com/images/examples/CNC_milling.jpg http://www.fabtechind.com/images/examples/nameplate.jpg and the homepage if youre interested: http://www.fabtechind.com/index.shtml -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

Material for a hinge.. depends what theyre made out of. If its T6160... but if its AR400 then it'd be a considerable amount more.
I'm guessing its probably just a cheap steel, probably some A516-70 or so forth. Just the type of stuff I'd like to know.. A shock, think about your car shocks. I saw KYB's for 50 a pair.. how much different are they? -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
