I had to buy new tires last week because my alignment and camber is so off, that it wore my tires in 4 months. I bought 215/40R/17W Yokohama Avid H4S. I also bought a camber kit for both the front and rear suspension from JCW.
I went to Tires Plus and asked them about aligning my car. I asked them if it was possible for them to get my lowered car up on the rack to get it aligned. The guy told me that they could align it, but it would be a waste of time and money because since my car is lowered, the camber wouldn't be adjusted since the specs are for OEM settings. Is this true, or do they just not want to do this for me? I've had bad service with them before, so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't want to do this. I can't possibly believe that every car that is lowered runs through tires in 4 months. I also just recieved the camber kits. Does anyone know how to install these? They didn't come with any type of installation instructions.. Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated. Yota -------------------- |
